Coming to The Summit

[rich-oo-uhl]  -noun

1.        an established or prescribed procedure for a religious or other rite.

2.        a system or collection of religious or other rites.

Scripture is full of rituals that are described and prescribed as an invitation into the presence of God. Rituals are given to us to be experiences of the grace of God in our lives.  Rituals like prayer, fasting, tithing, Sabbath, and worship invite us to live the lives that God intended as we meet Him face-to-face.

But, when we forget why we do what we do, rituals become ritualistic; we end up going through the motions, without any of the power and meaning.

Join us for this series, where we’ll search the pages of God’s Word to recover and rediscover these ancient practices that will allow us to remember, reflect, rejoice, and celebrate God.
