There have been many times when I have awoken and not been sure why, so I would just toss and turn and toss things around in my head, instead of listening to that still small voice that was wooing me to pray for someone. Then I would fall back asleep and feel guilty for not staying awake. Lord, help to be watchful, like Jesus told His disciples. And what a great idea to get out of the bed and pray! Thank you! Lord, make this true of me as well.
