Thank you so much Cammie. Thank you for your insight and your prayers!! It will be those small gestures of love and compassion that will allow the little ones to see Him through me. I am praying that I will look beyond the little things that frustrate me as their teacher and see them through His eyes, each of them sitting on Jesus's lap or tugging at the hem of His garment. Praise be to God.

Terri,

What a huge ministry you have...both my mom and my brother work in the public school system, and they, too, have mentioned so many, many times how difficult it is to feel like you are truly making any eternal difference in the children's lives. I know that my mom used to pair up with other teachers before the school day started to pray over each and every desk...she met with other teachers once a week for early morning breakfast and prayer...just simply taking the time to listen to each child, to affirm, to encourage, to love in such simple ways. We cannot underestimate the effectiveness of such small gestures. I will absolutely pray with and for you! I'm looking forward to each week we can spend together in LIFE group!

I work with so many young children who are stressed and worried daily. They wet the bed, they bite their nails, they speak only of negative things, they cry because they haven't heard from their mom in a week, they have nightmares and no one comforts them....It becomes such a burden on my heart that sometimes I think I can't do this any longer. Please pray that the Lord will give me strength to endure and that I may serve as a vessel of His light in these precious ones' worlds of despair.

Thank you for the reminder that I can be about the King's business in the small things that I do to care for my family, friends, and neighbors on a daily basis.
